The Business Solution Process
We're pleased to meet you! SCMW always wants to know more about our region's businesses. Our Early Warning Network keeps us abreast on companies that may need our help, but we prefer to meet you before the fire. Even if you have no immediate need, we like to have you on our radar.
To decide if action is necessary, we embark on an in-depth fact finding mission. Objective observation is hard to achieve from within the day-to-day operations of a company. Our Business Solutions Managers are skilled listeners and trained problem solvers that help you gain this perspective.
Fact finding invariably reveals problems and opportunities. In this next step, we design a plan of action to solve problems and seize opportunities. It could mean long-term and complicated restructuring. There could be a simple solution. Either way, a step-by-step plan must be clearly laid out.
Now that the course of action is set, it's time for just that. Action. Implementation may change the routine. It may require more work. It's a journey into the unknown. But taking these action steps is the most important part of the process. Don't worry, we'll have a good map.
Once we've executed our plan, we can then analyze the results. How well did it work? What could we have done better? Are we now in a position to look at new opportunities? If we're not careful, this could turn into a new Fact Finding meeting. It's an on-going process!
