Service Delivery

In the past all services delivered through the SCMW! Service Centers have been done through contractors. Currently SCMW! holds contracts with HRDI (Human Resources Development, Inc.) and JCC (Jackson Community College) for the delivery of Core and Intensive services through our Tri-County Service Centers of Hillsdale, Jackson and Lenawee.

Under the waiver passed down by the State of Michigan, SCMW! will now be granted the opportunity to deliver services directly for the pilot period of two years. During the two year pilot period SCMW! will be responsible to achieve the following outcomes:

  • Reduction of Overhead
  • Overall Elimination of Costs
  • Direct Customer Service vs Overhead
  • Lean Processes
  • Productivity Efficiency Gains
  • Demand Driven

It is the desire of SCMW! to continue to provide essential Workforce Development services to our communities. Through the changes our organization will undergo in the upcoming months we have confidence that our agency will withstand the budget cuts that are being made at the federal level and that we will be able to maintain the level of services that are currently being provided in our communities.
